individual
World
Champion
for the 2nd
time in 3

Championships - PHOTO SHOTS

Belgium's
Guido Nullens
had to scratch
around for fish
like everybody
else.

This was a
difficult venue
with the fish
constantly on the
move.

Top Italian
Gianluigi Sorti
with 1 point
on the first
day, dropped
back the 2nd
day to end
with a 7 point
total.

Consistent
Dutchmen
Eddy V.d. Hoogen
mixes up.

Leam or local
soil were all
you needed,
any kind of
bread feed
spelt
disaster.

Luc
Vercammen,
Belgium's top
man, came back
from a hard day 1
with 2.925Kg
and 2 points
on day 2.
Slovenia's
Mitja Kmetec
had a real
next peg battle
in E section
with Italy's
Gianluigi Sorti
on the 2nd day,
in the end loosing
out by just
165grams.
Geert Jacobs
from Belgium
had a good WC
with 2.090Kg
on day 1 and
3.280Kg
on day 2,
both from the
productive
B section.
Jacopo Falsini,
like all of
the Italians,
came back
hard on day 2
racing to catch
up..
...and
the result
was a section
win and victory
over arch rival
William Raison
in D section.
Another fish
for England's
Sean Ashby,
steadily working
his way
towards a
bronze medal.

Portugal's
Mario Baptista
cups in at the
start.

The local team
showed just how
peggy the venue
was by finishing
well down the
final table.

2+2 points
is a great
performance
under any
circumstances
but Tamàs
Walter was
pushed hard by
Sorti (I) on day 1
and Germany's
Mario Beck on
day 2.
..another
one for the
barby!

FisherRoo
Allan Webb
is happy with
this one but
it was to be
a hard
Championships
for the long
travelling
Aussies.
